Representatives of the Port of Houston - USA visit

On March 31, 2011, Maysa Fischer, on behalf of ACIJ, welcome the distinguished visitor Mr. John Moseley, General Manager, Trade Development Origination Divison, and Mr. John Cuttino, Brasil Representative, both coming from the Port of Houston Authority, Texas, US, while, during breakfast was being served to local entrepreneurs, the operational profile of that important maritime operator has been presented. Located in a privileged region along the east coast, the Port of Houston in headquarted in the fourth-largest city in the United States. The Port is a 25-mile-long complex of diversified public and private facilities distant a few hours of sailing time from the Gulf of Mexico. It is the busiest port in the United States in terms of foreign tonnage, second-busiest in the United States in terms of overall tonnage, and fifteenth-busiest in the world, inter-connected with other modals for fast and safe transportation and delivery of the goods.
